Three bedrooms are let at £75.00 pppw and the large front bedroom has an ensuite shower room W/C and is for rent at £80.00 pppw.

The property has mains interlinked smoke detectors, a heat detector located in the kitchen and a current electrical installation certificate valid for a period of five years.  It also has fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.

The property meets all the requirements of the CODE OF BEST PRACTICE as set out by York University and St.John’s University.

The reason we moved into 25a Starkey Crescent was because of the facilities that came with the property.  There is parking for two cars at the rear of the property one for this house and the other for next door which is also a student let owned by Levi Dale Lettings.  This year we negotiated with the tenants next door and have been able to use both spaces.  I am a York St John student, this house is further away than some of our friends but we didn't mind the distance.  We have had a problem with the shower in the en-suite which was leaking and producing water marks downstairs.  We informed the landlord and he sent the manintenance man out promptly.  We have all enjoyed living in this property and have found the landlord to be friendly and caring.  YRLA the letting agent made a mix up with the dates when the final payments of rent were due which was nearly a month before the actual installment of our student loan was paid and Michael Cain our landlord adjusted the date of the rent to coincide with this, which was very helpful and considerate to us.  Unfortunately we are moving out of this property at the end of the tenancy because our group is getting smaller, due to people graduating, but have acquired another one of Michael's properties to live in next year, which is equally a good size house."  Suzanne Miller (2008-2009)
